Niagara Falls Gluten Free

Spectacular

On her trip to Toronto my lovely friend and fellow celiac, Sile Farrell, also visited Niagara Falls where she came across some celiac friendly options. When I lived in Toronto a good friend of mine lived in Niagara so I spent quite a bit of time there, both in summer when tourists were buzzing around everywhere and also in winter when it was freezing but still beautiful. I look forward to returning to the area to try some of these gluten free options.

Irish Tea Room on 75 Queen Street does a variety of gluten free options. As an Irish coeliac in Niagara, what could be more perfect for Sile than coming across this place! An Irish tea room where she could eat gluten free fish cakes! Other gluten free options include a rice based quiche, cottage pie, soup, salad and desserts!

Fallsview Casino Resort on 6380 Fallsview Blvd does an all-you-can-eat extravagant buffet which caters for gluten free travellers to the area with a wide variety of gluten free options. The food was great and the staff had brilliant understanding of special diets and food allergies/intolerances including celiac disease.

Sheraton Four Points has The Keg Steakhouse and Bar (a chain which can be found all over Canada) which offers a bunch of gluten free options.

Johnny Rocco’s, an Italian restaurant on Lundy’s Lane offer gluten free pizza and gluten free pasta. Some of their entree items are also gluten free and clearly marked with a ‘G’ on their menus. This includes some chicken, fish and steak dishes.
