Gluten Free Around San Diego

Beautiful San Diego

Who are you and where are you?
I’m Erin, from America’s Finest City – aka, San Diego, CA

Tell me about your relationship with gluten..
I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2007, and have been proudly gluten free ever since!

Why should gluten free travellers visit your town?
Well, for one – it’s just gorgeous. But there are so much delicious things to eat here all around town!

Tell me something fun about your town..
We’re super dog friendly. We have great dog beaches and dog parks – and even can get a television station for dogs when owners are not home.

Where is your favourite place to eat out in your town and why?
I have multiple favorite places to eat, all around the county –

  • 2Good2B (in North County, Encinitas) is entirely gluten free, with baguettes and cinnamon rolls and mac and cheese and sandwiches.
  • AubreyRose in La Mesa is amazing and does gluten free high tea with scones!!
  • Casa Guadalajara in Old Town is great Mexican food with gluten free chips and amazing amazing tortilla soup.
  • My favorite? The gluten free cupcakes at Cupcakes Squared in Point Loma. Not a meal but not to be missed!
