Tell me about your relationship with gluten..
Gluten makes my belly angry.
Why should gluten free travellers visit your town?
Brisbane is a great city set in sub tropical surroundings. We have amazing weather (which I liken to Florida), tropical fruits and an exploding cafe scene offering everything from raw, organic gluten free cafes to gluten free options being available practically everywhere you go.
Tell me something fun about your town..
Whether you’re after exciting nightlife, great shopping, adventure, live music, beautiful beaches or relaxing in a tropical rainforrest. Brisbane has all this and more to offer and with our burgeoning health scene you’re sure to find plenty of gluten free treats on the way.
Where is your favourite place to eat out in your town and why?
I have to say The Little Larder Cafe in New Farm. The Little Larder cafe is located just minutes from the city and a few minutes walk from stunning river walks that take you into the city. They offer gluten free treats all day, but my favourite time to visit is for a leisurely breakfast. Perhaps a gluten free serve of banna bread with coffee, or their divine poached eggs with dill on polenta cakes – heaven. But my favourite would have to be homemade baked beans with mushrooms, haloumi and eggs on gluten free toast with a refreshing freshly juiced mint and pineapple juice. Yum!
