Gluten Free Belgrano

Gluten Free Dietetica

Cakes for coeliacs

Today I was walking around the neighbourhood of Belgrano for the first time and was very excited to find lots of gluten free signage in this area. We were searching for the city’s China Town and took the Subte to Juramento on the green line.

Juramento itself is a fantastic street for coeliacs to explore with various dieteticas and specialist stores which stock gluten free foods. There are a few restaurants in this area with gluten free options clearly marked on their menu’s, cake stores with portions of gluten free cake separately packaged to avoid contamination, chinese grocery stores with gluten free sections and lots of bigger dieteticas selling a great selection of gluten free meals and snacks.

Any gluten free travellers in Buenos Aires should definitely check out this area!

I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I just somehow found your blog! I’ve found i’ve got celiac disease a month and a half ago and some days it’s tough, specially because i’m a pasta freak!!
Love the combination of travelling (my passion) and gluten free food. Congrats!
