In the States, a large number of the candy and chocolate snacks that you find in stores are produced by Tootsie Roll Industries. A lot of the snacks associated with going to the movie theatre like Junior Mints, Dots and Sugar Babies are also made by Tootsie Roll, which always has me wondering which ones

Last week I called Hershey’s…. I explained to the man who answered my call that I was looking to find out which of their products are gluten free as this is not apparent on their labelling. He gave me this short list (confirmed as gluten free by Hershey’s corporate Headquarters):

Mars are one of the biggest candy and chocolate producers in the States so I contacted them to ask about the gluten free status of their products. Mars UK had emailed me a list of their ‘safe’ products so I figured that their North American counterparts were likely to do the same…..

Easter is here and that means many of us will be pondering whether or not to munch on a gooey creme egg. Cadbury’s Creme Eggs are delicious sugary. creme goodness…but are they gluten free? According to Cadbury’s website…yes they are and as you would expect the mini creme eggs are too!
